The good news is if you followed just the plays of the day yesterday, you broke even. Obviously not the goal, but its better than a loss. We went 1 for 3 on the POTDs, hit the Vegas 3-Way, and missed the rest of the card narrowly. We took in 30.9 units on the POTD, and 16.5 on the 3-Way, for a back end of 47.4 on the day. We had gone a little more aggressive than usual on the Moonshot, which turned out to be a mistake, but the upside would have been fantastic had it hit. We sent out 50 units in play, leaving us 3.6 down on the day and up a respectable 66.5 units total since the All Star break.

I’ve been watching the lines shift today and believe we’ve got some solid plays at a good return. I’m on my way out of town for a couple days, so the explanations on the plays will be lighter than usual as I’m running out of time to get this out to you and get out the door, but I’ll check back in late tonight and see how we did and start to get things squared away for tomorrow’s slate of day games.

Shifting units a little bit today since one of the POTDs is pretty long. I’m playing 10 units each on POTD1 and POTD2. 5 units on POTD3. 10 on the Daily Double, 5 on the Vegas 3-Way, 3 on the Longshot, and 2 on the Moonshot which will pay us over 70 to 1 if it comes in. In total, we’re sending out 45 units.

The A’s are fun to watch when they’re clicking, but right now, they’re just not. They can’t play on the road, and they’re giving out runs like candy.

Lots of offense coming in both of these games. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if one team in each game managed to cover this line alone.

This one’s a little long for a POTD, but Palmquist is VERY hittable, and Tovar is due to rattle a line drive double off the left field wall.
